I am a retired English and Creative Writing teacher and have been writing poetry--good and bad--since high school.  I  started bikepacking in the 80s, and I renewed my love for cycling when I bought a gravel bike. In 2020, I was lucky enough to become an ambassador for Velocio cycling apparel, and their amazing kit has seen me through some epic journeys. In 2021, I set out from Vancouver, BC and rode to Aberdeen, Cape Breton, completing the great Canadian adventure in 41 days .  I cycled 6, 777 kms, averaging 170 km/day.  Since then, I have ridden across the northern States, as well as exploring the Adirondacks. This year, I am Halifax Bound, and will retrace some of my route from 2021.
